DAY 01: Arrive at Srinagar & Half day sightseeing & Overnight stay at Srinagar

Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet and transfer by Car to Hotel. If time permits ~ proceed For Half Day Local Sightseeing of Srinagar including famous Nishat Garden known as 'Garden of pleasure' built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as 'Garden of love' built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). Dinner & Overnight stay at Srinagar.

DAY 02: Srinagar – Neelgarth Helipad drop | Amarnath Yatra By Helicopter | Night stay at Holy Cave

Morning after having your breakfast and transfer by car to Neelgarth Helicopter pad(100 Kms - 3-4 Hrs). By the afternoon, take your boarding into helicopter. Neelgarth – Panchtarani Helicopter Ride (One Way – 8-10 Minutes ride). Panchtarani is approx 6 Kms from Holy Cave, you can go there by Foot or can hire Palki/Pony at your own cost. After darshan overnight stay at Holy Cave / Panchtarani in Tent at your own cost. Unlimited Free food available at Langars.

DAY 03: Panchtarani–Neelgarth Helicopter Ride Then Srinagar airport drop (100 Kms–3Hrs. drive)

Morning return back to Panchtarani to catch your return journey from Panchtarani – Neelgarth by helicopter. Neelgartth to Srinagar transfer by road to catch your flight from Srinagar airport. Or we can provide you dropping at Srinagar any hotel also.

Upgradation cost of Vehicle:
  1. Instead of Srinagar Hotel stay if you require Dlx. Houseboat stay with 1 hour Shikara Ride on dal Lake then Rs. 500/- Per Person Per Night supplement cost will be applicable.
  2. For Small Cars: (Non A/C Indigo / Desire / Etios/ Tavera) If you require A/C in your vehicle then Rs. 500/- Per Day supplement cost will be applicable.
  3. For Non A/C Innova Car: If you require A/C in your vehicle then Rs. 800/- Per Day supplement cost will be applicable.
  4. A/C Toyota Innova Car instead of Tata Sumo Car @ Rs. 1000/- Per Day
  5. Pls. Note: Tata Winger is not having A/C facilities so if you require A/C 8-13 Seater vehicle then you have to opt A/C Tempo Traveller, the supplement cost for A/C Tempo Traveler instead of Non A/C Tata Winger @ Rs. 1300/- Per Day basis.

  1. M/S Yatharth Travels is a private travel agency. We provide Amarnath Yatra Helicopter Packages. We are not authorized to sell just helicopter tickets.
  2. We have calculated helicopter tickets via Neelgarth @ Rs. 3,200 /- Per Person Via Pahalgam @ Rs. 5,500/- Per Person & Katra Vaishnodevi Tickets @ Rs. 2050 in our packages.
  3. M/S Yatharth Travels will not be held responsible for any mishap/accident/injury/death/ Natural disaster, rites, curfew, landslide, terrorism during the course of the tour.
  4. Force Majeure or Acts of God:- During any Package period, unforeseen events can take place, these events may include but may not be limited to the following terrorism, civil unrest, rioting, war, natural disaster,typhoons,floods,landslide,political crisis,curfew.These acts among others are referred in travel industry as FORCE MAJEURE, a French term meaning “Unforseeable Circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract.”No Cancellation or any refund will be made at any cost in case of bad weather, land-slide, any other natural disaster, political/national crisis, curfew, terrorism due to which the customer could not reach the destination/ airport/ railway station/ bus stand, which is beyond the control of the Agent/Hotel. It will be entirely at the risk and cost of the customer. All customers have to manage their stay, transport, Air, train & Bus fares and any further expenses at their own cost.
  5. In case of booking cancellation, Only our cancellation policy will be applicable..
  6. Price excludes airfares, train fares, bus fares personal expenses like laundry, telephone, tips, Mineral Water bottles, room services, ponies, palkies charges, monuments charges, personal expenses etc.
  7. Meals in the Package can only be availed in the provided hotels, Vegetarian meals will be severed during Amarnath Ji Yatra.
  8. Meals while traveling is not included in the package and shall be paid by the customer.
  9. Entrance fees, if any, at any point shall be paid by customers.
  10. Hotels, Helicopter tickets, Transport are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
  11. Rates are subject to change (without a prior notice) in case of a major fuel hike or hike in Government. taxes etc.
  12. Cancellation & other policies as per the Hotel, Helicopter's & Yatharth Travels policy.
  13. Due to bad weather or technical reason if the schedule flight is cancelled / delay, Sonmarg / Srinagar hotel/houseboat will consider No-Show for that day without any refund {In case client is not able to reach at their pre booked hotel/ destination}. Next day’s accommodation has to be taken care by the guest directly. Transportation would be charged Rs. 2000 - 3000* extra per day by driver {*in 02 Nights Package only}.
  14. In case of cancellation of the scheduled flight due to bad weather/Force Majeure/technical reasons, advance booked passengers could get the priority next day Or aviation service can cancel the tickets and put the cancellation refund stamp on your tickets {the entire decision will be as per the aviation management, current situations and previous rush – No travel agent can interfere their decision}.
  15. Helicopter operator reserves to itself the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight or to change the landing place or to deviate from the route of the journey thereby incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passengers or any other person on any ground whatsoever. Helicopter operator also reserves the right to cancel or delay its flight under circumstances beyond its control, for example, bad weather conditions, technical defects and government regulations/orders/requirements etc.
  16. All passengers have to collect the refund amount directly from the Helipad. Yatharth Travels will not be responsible in case the traveler does not get the refund from the aviation services.
  17. Due to lack of payment if Charter’s official will advise you to put the cancellation stamp & sign in the Helicopter tickets {at Neelgarth/ Pahalgam Helipad/ Katra Helipad} by them to collect the refund from passenger’s travel agents, in this case we can just process your refund request to the Charter’s office/ Authorized agents . Whenever we will get the refund we will forward it to the passenger. Passengers are requested to send us the original cancelled copies of Helicopter tickets within time limit. After that the refund request will not be considered. All refund will proceed be after 55 -60 days of the over Amarnath Yarta. In case of any kind of delay in refund / Non Payment by the aviation services, our company will not be liable for the same. Client can directly contact to the Aviation services for refund. To claim the refund we would require the original Cancelled Tickets with stamp and sign {from Neelgarth/ Pahalgam Helipad/ Katra Helipad}. You have to put the compulsory cancellation stamp & sign in your helicopter tickets ,Without stamped tickets no refund request will be accepted.
  18. Passenger can directly send through courier/speed post the original stamped cancelled tickets to us at : (Yatharth Travels, 7 A, First Floor, Sant Nagar, Behind Karur Vysya Bank, East of Kailash, New Delhi – 110065) OR can directly send the courier/ speed post to aviation office to avail the Helicopter Actual Tickets cost refund. As early as possible we will get the same from Charter’s office, will forward the same to the passengers. Passengers can also directly contact to the aviation for the refund of canceled helicopter tickets.
  19. Yatharth Travels shall not be responsible for non-show of passenger(s) at next destination due to cancellation of helicopter services due to backload, delay boarding, technical reasons & also shall not be responsible if passenger(s) gets stuck at Holy Cave, Panchtarani etc and do not turn up at the next destination..
  20. No refund shall be made for all on the spot paid arrangements i.e. hotel/ camps, transport and other arrangements booked by customer due the reasons mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
  21. Yatharth Travels can book helicopter tickets for passenger(s). All land & boarding arrangement parts have to be done by Aviation services only.
  22. Yatris travelling by helicopters to Panjtarni shall not be required to secure Yatra Permits but such Yatris will be required to produce Compulsory Health Certificates, duly issued by Authorised Doctors/ Institutes at the time of boarding the helicopter at Neelgrat/ Pahalgam. No Yatri shall be allowed to board the helicopter without first submitting the CHC {Compulsory Medical Certificate}.
  23. Children below 13 year in age, elderly persons above the age of 75 years and Ladies who are more than 6 weeks pregnant shall not be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage.
  24. Passengers are requested to report at the departure helipad one hour before the notified departure time of the flight or at Reporting Time mentioned in the PTD. Passengers reporting beyond these timings shall be treated as “NO SHOW” passengers {without any refund} and the Operator reserves the right to allot the seat to other passengers. For Panjtarni to Neelgrath sector, passengers will be boarded on a First Come First Serve Basis subject to availability of seats.
  25. In case of bad weather or any technical reason if the flight is cancelled at Amarnath Or Vaishnodevi Sector then actual tickets cost of helicopter tickets will be refunded from helicopter services. Transaction charges & taxes will not be refunded.
  26. Helicopter Services could be any of the aviation services available in the sector. It could be either of UT-Air India or Global Vectra or mixed from Neelgarth Route and from Pahalgam tickets will be of Himalayan Heli Services. The estimated timings of Helicopter Tickets are between 06:30 AM till 12:00 Noon {for Same Day Package} & In Next Day Package tickets timing will be after 01:30 PM onwards via Neelgarth route.
  27. Every passenger has to carry the hotel vouchers during the travel. Without Vouchers Check Inn at Hotel will not be granted.
  28. Compulsory Photo identity proof has to be produced on Check-in (Passport, Voter Id, Pan Card, driving licensee, Aadhar Card, and any other govt. approved ID etc.)
  29. No replacement in accommodation is allowed during the stay. If guest(s)/passenger(s) get(s) stuck at Sonamarg / Panchtarani and want(s) their stay at Sonmarg only instead of Srinagar for the same day,they have make own arrangements at own cost only. Srinagar stay will consider No-Show without any refund. On the spot changes / amendments are not possible during the trip.
  30. Amarnath Yatra package cannot be rescheduled for any other destination.
  31. If passenger(s) keep their vehicle for entire tour and could not visit any sightseeing, destination due to any reason, no refund of transportation will be allotted. Only Airport dropping shall be provided on the last day between 9 AM – 12 PM from Srinagar.
  32. No cancelation / refund request will be acceptable if the Shivling goes melted early.
  33. No package cancelation / refund request will be acceptable due to any reason if air / train/ bus tickets gets cancelled from the airlines / railway / Bus operator. Cancellation policy will be applicable.
  34. If guest(s)/passenger(s) fails to reach pre booked hotel/ destination due to reasons beyond our control viz. rail, flight, helicopters delays, roadblocks, vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances, strikes, terrorism, curfew, they have to manage all expenses for their same day stay. In case of cancellation, our cancelation policy will be applicable.
  35. Disputes, if any shall be subject to Jurisdiction of Delhi only.


Your journey shall involve trekking across high mountains, facing strong cold winds. You must carry (i) adequate woollen clothing; (ii) a small umbrella (preferably one which is tied with an elastic band around your head and supported by a strap around the chin); (iii) windcheater; (iv) raincoat; (v) waterproof trekking shoes; (vi) torch; (vii) walking stick; (viii) cap (preferably a monkey cap); (ix) gloves; (x) jacket; (xi) woollen socks; (xii) trousers (preferably a waterproof pair). These items are essential as the climate is highly unpredictable and changes abruptly from sunny weather to rain and snow. The temperature can sometimes abruptly fall to 5 degrees Celcius or lower. Postpaid connection will be working at Neelgrath onward (BSNL/ Airtel). Please carry the postpaid mobile connections in Jammu & Kashmir sector.

For Ladies:

Saree is not a suitable dress for the Yatra. Salwar Kameez, pant shirt or a track suit will be better. Ladies who are more than 6 week pregnant shall not be allowed to undertake the pilgrimage.

1. For your reservations we need some token amount in advance i.e. for Next day return package @ Rs. 5000/- Per Person basis.

2. Balance of the payment will be when we will deliver you the traveling vouchers by e mail. Balance payment has to be done within 07 working days after receiving your e travelling vouchers. If your travel date is less than 20 days then you will have to pay full payment as an advance.

Important: The booking stands liable to be auto cancelled if 100% payment is not received within 07 working days after getting your travelling vouchers or 20 days before of your travel date whichever is earlier. In case of Non Payment - The received advance amount will be fully forfeited. On arrival payments at Srinagar/ Jammu/ Katra are not allowed. Helicopter Tickets will be delivered latest before 02 days of your Amarnath Yatra.

*An interest of 18% p.a. Compounded monthly shall be payable on all delayed payments. However, if the customer(s) fails to pay interest on delayed payments, the same shall be charged by the company on final billing.

Payment Mode:

You can deposit the amount at the ICICI bank’s branch near you in our current Bank account. Or you can make the online payment & inform us through email. We shall immediately confirm your advance payment acknowledgment & then your booking by email. Your reservation vouchers shall be e mailed/*couriered (*On Request basis) to you.

If there is no such bank branch near you, you can send the payment via bank draft, payable at New Delhi to us. You can also pay cash payment at our Delhi office. Please send us an email specifying your address after making the deposit. We shall email the hotel voucher to you upon receipt of your response.

  1. Suggestion if guest is taking 02 Nights / 03 Days Package: If guests are taking 03 days package in this case they should book their return flight on day 04th instead of day 03rd. Still the guest want to book their return flight on day 03rd and if due to any reason their return flight will be No–Show then in this case it will be completely guest’s responsibility not of Yatharth Travels. No refund will be considered for any flight delay/cancellation/ No-Show case.
  2. All Guest those are taking Same Day Return helicopter packages – They all are highly requested to please book your first 02 Nights stay at Sonamarg and 01 Night stay at Srinagar. This package is highly recommended by us.
  3. In our Group Departure Packages, Please Note: the vehicle will be on sharing basis with other group members and all guests have to wait for other clients until they arrived. Rates are valid for min. 02 - 03 people sharing a room. For Min. 06 - 07 People Non A/C Tata Sumo will be provided. For 08 – 13 people Non A/C Tata Winger vehicle will be provided. Every guest has to wait for another guest at Srinagar airport, Neelgarth / Panchtarani Helipad and all the further transfers –The estimated timing of assembling at Srinagar airport aprox 04 - 05 PM. On day of Amarnath Yatra by helicopter {02nd Day}, Those Yatri who will be late OR stuck at Panchtarani due to any reason they all have to manage their Neelgarth – Srinagar transfers by their own cost. 03rd Day our vehicle will drop you all at Srinagar. Our group departure vehicle will only available for all members till 06:00 PM in the evening {03rd Day} only {No Matter Whatever The condition Are}. So please be double sure before making your group departure package. In case of any problem {i.e. waiting at Airport / Neelgarth Helipad}. We are not recommending you Group departure Packages still if guest is taking this package so we will not be responsible and any kind of complaints regarding that will not be entertained. If any kind of abusive language, on the phone or on our Representative at Srinagar Airport, by the clients, then the company may also require legal action against all of them,

Amarnath & Vaishnodevi Yatra Package Or People those are arriving Srinagar By Road, Please Note: Yatri who are taking Shri Amarnath Yatra with Mata Vaishnodevi darshan Or people those are planning to arrive Srinagar By Road- They all should book their flight tickets from Sriangar – Jammu / Jammu - Srinagar. They all should avoid Srinagar – Katra / Jammu – Srinagar by road travel. As Amarnath Yatra Mainly begins in June End/ July till Aug month – Its totally monsoon season for all Indian destinations. Still if clients take Srinagar – Katra/ Jammu – Srinagar by road travel and they will stuck in between on the highway due to terrorism, civil unrest, rioting, war, natural disaster, typhoons, floods, landslide, political crisis, curfew – It will be entirely client risk. Their further bookings for Hotels, transport & helicopter tickets will be considered as “NO-Show” without any refund.
  5. If during your travel you will face any kind of problem regarding your Hotels & transport, you all are highly requested to contact to your tour executive same time so that he/she can resolve the problem. After reaching your home if you will complaint for anything we won’t be unable to solve the issue.
  6. The trek to the Panjtarni - Holy Cave and back to Panjtarni takes approx. 4-5 hours by walk and aprox 1.5 hours {one side} by ponies Or Palkies. And the Darshan takes min. 1-2 hour time. Normally the flights stop operating after 5 PM {Sub. To the weather conditions}, hence, it is likely that passengers reaching Panjtarni after 12 PM may be unable to take the flight back to Neelgrath the same day. Such passengers will need to stay for a night at Panjtarni / Holy cave {at Tent} at their own cost and they will be picked up from Panjtarni the next day on first come first serve basis by the same helicopter service.
  7. It is estimated that per Adult passenger weight is 75 -80 KG approx. In case of overweight of the passenger, because of the weight limitations of the helicopter, Heli services has the discretion to refuse or make the alteration into the booking /fare and charge additional amount for the excess weight as per Industry practice. Maximum of 5 kg of hand baggage per Adult is permitted only. Excess baggage is not permitted.
  8. We are highly recommending you to take minimum 03 Nights & 04 Days Package for Amarnath Yatra. If the weather is not favorable Or you will stuck at Panchtarani, in this case you be able to catch your return flight from Srinagar to your onward journey.
  9. Kindly book your flight to Srinagar by morning or by noon (Latest Till 3:00 PM). Yatries who are reaching at Srinagar airport by evening flight - 04:00 PM onwards they should stay 01st Night stay at Srinagar only instead of Sonmarg coz by the late evening due to security reason ARMY people will not allowed to proceed for Sonmarg. If due to security reason you will unable to reach your pre booked hotel/ destination in this case it will be treated as No – Show without and refund (Last moment cancellation/ amendment will not be acceptable). Kindly book your departure flight only in late evening from Srinagar so that you can easily reach Srinagar airport without any delays to catch your flight.

Cancellation Policy:

In case of the cancellation: You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:

1} 75% cancellation of the package cost after Confirmation / issuing the hotel vouchers. {25% Payment will be refunded after getting your full payment}

2} 100% cancellation before 30 days of the travel date. {No Refund /payment will be refunded}

3} No amendment in Hotels/ Houseboat/Camps/ Transport & Helicopter Tickets Once the booking is done.

Important: About Hotel / Houseboat

1. Before doing the bookings kindly personally check all hotels Website, reviews & other services in internet. We have already provided the hotels name destinations wise. If the given hotels are not suitable then please ask for the upgraded hotel options.

2. We have calculated basic room category of hotels in our proposal. If basic room will not be available at the time of booking or if you required higher category rooms then supplement cost will be applicable accordingly.

3. Check-in Time is 14:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 11:00 hrs.

4. A valid photo ID proof & Hotel Vouchers for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.

5. For Extra adult {Above 12 Yrs.} in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.

6. In the area (almost all) the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can arrange rooms at the lowest floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs possible.

7. Kashmir is a hill satiation so in the area maximum hotels are not having any kind of A/C facilities in the rooms. Non A/C Rooms only available in Kashmir Destination.

8. Check Inn will be on first come first serve basis at the time of arrivals.

9. For Houseboat Check Inn: Shikara Boats are only available till 08:30 to 09 P.M. in the late evening for crossing. In one Shikara boat only 04 adults are only allow. Shikara Ride will be for just 01 hour.

10. Most of the Dlx. Houseboats are having min. 03 – 04 bed rooms. The living area, Lobby and dining area will be on sharing basis with other houseboat guests. Rooms will be on separate basis with having full privacy. Rooms are having attached washroom with hot and cold running water.

About Transport

1. Our driver / executive will be there at Srinagar airport with the PLA – CARD {with your name} at Exit Gate on the Airport.

2. We have calculated the basic vehicle {Non A/C Tata Sumo/ Indica Car} in our proposal, if you want to upgrade your vehicle into other type of vehicle {Tavera Car / Innova Car} Or if you require A/C version in vehicle then please ask the same with our executive before your travel date. Accordingly we will provide our proposal. During the travel any kind of changes in vehicle will not consider.

3. The guest should always be cool & calm with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.

4. As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Kashmir region – guest will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers.

5. We would appreciate, if the guest does not lend their ears to the drivers as most of the time they misguide the passengers. In such instances we would request them to contact our executive.

6. Keeping this in mind please ensure that you do not leave your belongings in the vehicle as there is very little possibility of getting them back. Always check your baggage before leave the vehicle.

7. Please inform your guest to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive. Mainly in Kashmir vehicle will not allowed to park at the hotel instead of parking stand.

8. Only 06 heads are allowed in 1 Innova / Tavera / Sumo Car including child and 08 - 12 heads are allowed in Tata Winger. In case the number of travelers are increases, than the guest will have to opt for the additional vehicle with an extra cost which is directly payable by the guest on spot.

9. If you do not want your vehicle on sharing basis with other group members then please refer our separate package instead of group departure.

Other Useful Information
  1. Please walk 4-5 Km daily, consult your doctor, exercise deep breathing and drink plenty of water etc. to prepare yourself for the Yatra
  2. Please do not undertake your Yatra without proper shoes and woollens clothes and always carry Identity Card, Compulsory Heath Certificate, registration Permit, raincoat, Umbrella etc.
  3. Please consult your doctor again before embarking your journey and do not forget to carry your Registration Permit.
  4. Only BSNL (Post paid) SIM cards work in Yatra area. However, you can purchase pre-paid BSNL SIM cards at the Baltal and Nunwan Base Camp
  5. The Access Control Gates at Domel and Chandanwari remain open only from 5 AM to 11AM and the onward movement from Panjtarni to Holy Cave is not allowed after 3 PM
  6. Please walk slowly while ascending, relax at regular intervals and descend immediately to lower elevation in case of any symptom of sickness, discomfort during the Yatra.
  7. Please keep your clothes and eatables in a suitable water proof bag to avoid your belongings getting wet
  8. Women Yatris must avoid wearing Saree during trekking and should wear Salwar Kameez, Pant-Shirt or Track suit.
  9. Please do not commence journey on an empty stomach. Please do not overexert during the Yatra beyond your normal capacity
  10. During Yatra, please travel in group with porters/horses/ponies and ensure they remain in your sight. Please help your fellow Yatris on the tracks
  11. Please do not attempt any shortcuts, walk only on the track and never stop at places which are marked by warning notice
  12. Please get police assistance and announcement made on Public Address system in case any member of your group found missing.
  13. Free food facility is available in the entire Yatra area at the langars. Please consume plenty of carbohydrates and follow prescribed food menu
  14. The Holy Cave is located at 14000 feet, please do take precautions in view of high altitude sickness and avoid overnight stay at Holy Cave. Please do not ignore the symptoms of high altitude sickness.
  15. Please do not drink alcohol, caffeinated drink or smoke. Please do not throw used plastic bottles and other garbage in open
  16. Earth, water, air, fire and sky are integral parts of lord Shiva. Please respect the environment and do nothing whatsoever to pollute the Yatra area
  17. Please perform Yatra with a pious mind and do not throw coins, notes, chunni etc. at the Holy Lingam

  19. Yatris those are coming from Jammu / Katra by road, they all are advised to start their journey early in the morning and cross Jawahar Tunnel before 3.00 PM.
