CHECK LIST FOR THE CHARDHAM YATRA
- Please carry a photo Id and proof of the address along with you.
- Do carry sufficient light woolens from May to Aug and heavy woolens from Sept to Nov.
- Carry good walking shoes: - canvas or sport shoes
- If you wish you can carry dry eatables with you like biscuits, snacks and chocolates etc.
- Always hire registered pony, kandi and porter.
- Move slowly and steadily and give the driver enough time for rest.
- Please carry umbrella/ Rain coat and one torch.
- Carry sufficient money to pay for your personal expenses.
- It is advisable to carry your own personal medical kit.
- Avoid carrying heavy jewelry during the Yatra.
- Don’t use soap while bathing/ washing clothes in the river.
- Don’t throw wrappers/poly bags on the road or in the forest during the journey.
- Don’t carry poly bags as it is banned in Uttarakhand.
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING
- A/c will not work in car on Hilly areas.(In Chardham Sector)
- In case of any uncertain/unwanted circumstances like bad weather or land slide etc. Company will reschedule the itinerary accordingly. But, in that case guest has to pay for extra expenses like food, accommodation, car rental for extra days or anything which is already booked/ arranged by the company.
- Company is not responsible If there will be any kind of fault such as electricity or water inside the Hotel Premises.(Hotel Manager will be resolved the problem)
- After Confirming Helicopter tickets, company is not responsible for any kind of discrepancy happened from the end of the Aviation Company. Like cancellation due to bad weather etc.
- Extra expenses other than the planed itinerary will be bear by the client at their own. Such as medical related problem, extra meal in between journey or whatever is not mentioned in the itinerary, Hotels other than booked one.
- Sightseeing which are out of the way of Chardham Yatra will cost extra.
- All extras (F&B and any other services) availed by the customer will be on direct payment basis.
- In case of odd number groups, the extra person shall be accommodated in the same room with an extra bed / mattress.
- The above rates are applicable to the Indian Nationals only.
- In Rishikesh, Green card permit will be taken from Uttrakhand Govt. the time may vary depending upon crowd there hill taking the permit.
- Any Meals, services not utilized, partly utilized are non-refundable.
PAYMENT TERMS:- For your reservations, we need some token amount in advance i.e. 50% of your package cost.
*Balance of the payment will be when we will deliver you the traveling vouchers by email. Balance payment has to be done within 07 working days after receiving your e traveling vouchers. If your travel date is less than 20 days then you will have to pay full payment as an advance.
Important: The booking stands liable to be auto-canceled if 100% payment is not received within 07 working days after getting your traveling vouchers or 20 days before your travel date whichever is earlier. In case of Non Payment - The received advance amount will be fully forfeited. On arrival payments at Delhi/ Haridwar/ Rishikesh are not allowed. Helicopter Tickets will be delivered at latest before 01 month before of your Yatra date. *An interest of 18% p.a. Compounded monthly shall be payable on all delayed payments. However, if the customer(s) fails to pay interest on delayed payments, the same shall be charged by the company on final billing.
Payment Mode: Passenger (s) can deposit the amount at any of the bank’s branch near to them in our current Account No. Passenger (s) can make the online payment & inform us through email. Once, a payment receipt is confirmed, Yatharth Travels shall confirm the booking by email. Reservation vouchers shall be emailed/couriered (on a Request basis) to passenger (s).
Payments can also be sent to our address through bank draft, favoring Yatharth Travels Solutions payable at New Delhi. Payment can also be made by cash at our Delhi office. Please send us an email specifying your address after making the deposit. On confirmation of payment, the hotel voucher shall be mailed to the passenger (s).

1) 35% cancellation charges of the Package Cost at the time of booking/ advance payment, (65% Package cost will be refundable, after getting the full payment from client)
2) 50% cancellation charges of the Package cost after issuing your e vouchers & Tickets (50% Package cost will be refundable, after getting the full payment from client)
3) 45 days prior to Travel Date: 75% cancellation charges of the Package Cost (25% Package cost will be refundable, after getting the full payment from client)
4) 30 days prior to Travel Date: 100% cancellation of the Tour / service cost (No Refund will be provided)
Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday & other National Holidays, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's Or National Holidays will be considered on next working day.
Booking Procedure
- Request for package bookings to be confirmed by written by e mail & WhatsApp only.
- All Tour Package & booking related correspondence to be made by written only.
- No verbal & Telephonic communication to be considered, if any dispute occurs, only written communication will be valid.
- Booking to be confirmed only after getting advance payment of the total package cost.
- Rest of the payment to be cleared as per the payment policy.
- In case of the cancellation of the package, our cancellation policy will be applicable.
- Refund, if any, approved by the Company, will be made only after the completion of the Tour Package.
- M/S Yatharth Travels is a private travel agency. We provide the complete Char Dham Packages.
- We have calculated helicopter tickets @ 4680 as per government decided rates in our packages. If there is any Hike in the fares by the relative authorities then the same has to be bear by the client. The client cannot deny making the difference in the fare if any.
- M/S Yatharth Travels will not be held responsible for any mishap/accident/injury/death/ Natural disaster, rites, curfew, landslide, terrorism during the course of the tour.
- Note:- In the event of breaking down of any sort of viral/bacterial epidemic & subsequent regulatory bans on tour/tours due to such epidemic, we shall not be held responsible for such cancellations, Only Helicopter Tickets cost of tour cost shall be refundable if the ban circular/notification is published 30 days prior to the date of commencement of tour (After getting your full payment). **Nil refund, if ban circular/notification is published 30 days prior to the date of commencement of tour.
- Force Majeure or Acts of God:- During any Package period, unforeseen events can take place, these events may include but may not be limited to the following terrorism, civil unrest, rioting, war, natural disaster,typhoons,floods,landslide,political crisis,curfew.These acts among others are referred in travel industry as FORCE MAJEURE, a French term meaning “Unforseeable Circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract.”No Cancellation or any refund will be made at any cost in case of bad weather, land-slide, any other natural disaster, political/national crisis, curfew, terrorism etc due to which the customer could not reach the destination/ airport/ railway station/ bus stand, which is beyond the control of the Agent/Hotel. It will be entirely at the risk and cost of the customer. All customers have to manage their stay, transport, Air, train & Bus fares and any further expenses at their own cost.
- No refund/cancellation is allowed in the event of terrorist acts, civil unrest, rioting, war, natural disaster, typhoons, floods, landslide, political crisis, curfew, any viral pandemic condition etc.
- M/s Yatharth Travels can assist you in booking your Flight Tickets or Can book it for you against your request. The changes in schedule of flights is totally dependable on the Aviation service( Airlines). For any Cancellation/ Rescheduling The client has to Contact directly to the airlines. Our Company executive will not be able to help you in such process.
- Once the client makes his/her booking with Full/Advance Payment, He/She/they agree to all the terms and conditions of the company. Denial of which will lead to a 100% cancellation as per the policy. In case of booking cancellation, Only Yatharth Travel’s cancellation policy will be applicable.
- The Helicopter Packages, once booked by the client is non-refundable. If the client cancels the booking before the 30 days of there yatra date then only helicopter tickets cancellation amount will be refunded (After getting your full payment).
- Price excludes airfares, train fares, bus fares personal expenses like laundry, telephone, tips, Mineral Water bottles, room services, ponies, palkies charges, Cable Car ride, monuments charges, personal expenses etc.
- Meals in the Package can only be availed in the provided hotels, Vegetarian meals will be severed during stay.
- Meals while traveling is not included in the package and shall be paid by the customer.
- Entrance fees, if any, at any point shall be paid by customers.
- Hotels, Helicopter tickets, Transport are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
- Rates are subject to change (without a prior notice) in case of a major fuel hike or hike in Government taxes,hotel charges, etc.
- Cancellation & other policies as per the Hotel, Helicopter's & Yatharth Travels policy.
- Who has made booking(who is in conversation with our executive) he/ she is only the authorized person on behalf of whole group to contact the company and it’s officials regarding any issue in booking, payment update, any amendment in booking and etc. any other person of the group will not be entertained by any of the official. As it is impossible to communicate with more than one person of the group and it will lead to confusions in your booking
- The registered email id & contact no. mentioned at the time of booking is unchangeable and will not be edited at any point of the booking process. All the important communication with the company can only be done through that email id / contact no.
- We can just book the Helicopter tickets for our client. Helicopter operator reserves to itself the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel or delay the commencement. If flights get delays Or cancelled it will be totally aviation services decision. We will be not responsible for any inconvenience cased.
- Helicopter operator reserves to itself the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight or to change the landing place or to deviate from the route of the journey thereby incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passengers or any other person on any ground whatsoever. Helicopter operator also reserves the right to cancel or delay its flight under circumstances beyond its control, for example, bad weather conditions, technical defects and government regulations/orders/requirements etc.
- All passengers have to put the cancellation stamp in the helicopter tickets, if due to bad weather or any reason helicopter tickets get cancelled. if Charter’s official will advise you to put the cancellation stamp & sign in the Helicopter tickets { from the Helipad} by them to collect the refund from passenger’s travel agents, in this case we can just process your refund request to the Charter’s office/ Authorized agents . Whenever we get the refund, the same shall be forward to the passengers. Passengers are requested to send us the original cancelled copies of Helicopter tickets within time limit. After that the refund request will not be considered. All refunds will be proceeded after 55 -60 days of the scheduled Yatra. In case of any kind of delay in refund / Non Payment by the aviation services, our company will not be liable for the same. Client can directly contact to the Aviation services for refund. To claim the refund we would require the original Cancelled Tickets with stamp and sign at Niharika Bhawan. You have to put the compulsory cancellation stamp & sign in your helicopter tickets. No refund request will be accepted if tickets are submitted without Stamping.
- Please note: If for some reason, the government has postponed the Yatra before its time, then for this reason the company is not obliged to offer any kind of refund in the package. Maximum, the company will be able to refund the passenger (s) Helicopter ticket amount, as much as the refund will be received from the aviation service.
- Passenger can directly send through courier/speed post the original stamped cancelled tickets to us at Yatharth Travels, 7 A, First Floor, Sant Nagar, Behind KrurVysya Bank, East of Kailash, New Delhi – 110065) along with the bank details with IFSC Code to avail the Helicopter actual tickets cost refund as early as possible. Once we get the same from Charter’s office, will forward the same to the passengers. Passengers can also directly contact to the aviation for the refund of cancelled helicopter tickets.
- Yatharth Travels shall not be responsible for non-show of passenger(s) at next destination due to cancellation of helicopter services due to backload, delay boarding, technical reasons & also shall not be responsible if passenger(s) gets stuck at overnight at Kedarnath and do not turn up at the next destination.
- Yatharth Travels can book helicopter tickets for passenger(s). All land & boarding arrangement parts have to be done by Aviation services onl
- Passengers are requested to report at the departure helipad one hour before the notified departure time of the flight or at Reporting Time mentioned in the PTD (Ticket). Passengers reporting beyond these timings shall be treated as “NO SHOW” passengers {without any refund} and the Operator reserves the right to allot the seat to other passengers.
- In case of bad weather or any technical reason if the flight is cancelled at Kedarnath Sector then actual tickets cost will be refunded from helicopter services. Transaction charges & taxes will not be refunded.
- Every passenger has to carry the hotel vouchers during the travel. Without Vouchers Check Inn at Hotel will not be granted.
- Compulsory Photo identity proof has to be produced on Check-in (Passport, Voter Id, Pan Card, driving licensee, Aadhar Card, and any other govt. approved ID etc.)
- Kedarnath package cannot be rescheduled for any other destination.
- If passenger(s) keep their vehicle for entire tour and could not visit any sightseeing, destination due to any reason, no refund of transportation will be allotted.
- No package cancelation / refund request will be acceptable due to any reason if air / train/ bus tickets gets cancelled from the airlines / railway / Bus operator. Cancellation policy will be applicabl
- If guest(s)/passenger(s) fails to reach pre booked hotel/ destination due to reasons beyond our control viz. rail, flight, helicopters delays, roadblocks, vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances, strikes, terrorism, curfew, they have to manage all expenses for their same day stay. In case of cancellation, our cancelation policy will be applicable.
- No amendment in Hotels & Helicopter Tickets Once the booking is done.
- Disputes, if any shall be subject to Jurisdiction of Delhi only.
USEFUL INFORMATION:
Your journey shall involve trekking across high mountains, facing strong cold winds. You must carry (i) adequate woollen clothing; (ii) a small umbrella (preferably one which is tied with an elastic band around your head and supported by a strap around the chin); (iii) windcheater; (iv) raincoat; (v) waterproof trekking shoes; (vi) torch; (vii) walking stick; (viii) cap (preferably a monkey cap); (ix) gloves; (x) jacket; (xi) woollen socks; (xii) trousers (preferably a waterproof pair). These items are essential as the climate is highly unpredictable and changes abruptly from sunny weather to rain and snow. The temperature can sometimes abruptly fall to 5 degrees Celcius or lower. The postpaid connection will be working at Neelgrath onward (BSNL). Please carry the postpaid mobile connections in the Jammu & Kashmir sector.
For Ladies: Saree is not a suitable dress for the Yatra. Salwar Kameez, a pant shirt or a tracksuit will be better. Ladies who are more than 6 weeks pregnant shall not be allowed to undertake the pilgrimage.

By accessing, using, browsing or booking through our Website (s) or Directly or Indirectly through Yatharth Travels or its representative(s), you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions & cancellation policy and you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. By accepting our booking terms & conditions, the user is also agreeing to the terms & conditions of the Hotels, aviation services, Airlines, and other associate service providers and vendors.

THE ITINERARY MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME
Tour Itinerary mentioned in our package is a tentative schedule. Force Majeure or Acts of God:- terrorism, civil unrest, rioting, war, natural disaster, typhoons, floods, landslide, political crisis, curfew, which is beyond the control of the Agent/Hotel. We reserve the right to alter, amend, c0r to the departure of the tour. If such changes/events occur during the tour, our tour manager or local representative will inform you of the changes on the spot and we solicit your full co-operation in accepting such circumstantial changes.
Such changes may be necessitated due to factors beyond our control such as Force Majeure events, we will make reasonable efforts to keep the overall package of services unchanged. However, we shall not be responsible/liable to refund any amount or pay any compensation on account of any change in itinerary. Due to these circumstances, if you have to make any separate payment for any service, we do not have any responsibility in any way.
Important:- About Hotel / Houseboat –
- Before doing the bookings kindly check all hotel/s website, reviews & other services on internet. Destination wise hotel names have been provided. If the given hotels are not found suitable, please ask for the upgraded hotel options
- We have calculated basic Non A/C Room category of hotels in our proposal. If basic room will not be available at the time of booking or if you required higher category rooms then supplement cost will be applicable accordingly.
- Check-in Time is 14:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 11:00 hrs.
- A valid photo ID proof & Hotel Vouchers for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
- For Extra adult {Above 12 Yrs.} in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
- In Hill areas (almost all) the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can arrange rooms at the lowest floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs possible.
- Char Dham Yatra operate in a hill station so in the area maximum hotels are not having any kind of A/C facilities in the rooms. Non A/C Rooms only available in these Destinations. Only few newly build hotels are having A/C rooms in Srinagar. If you want a/c rooms then the supplement cost will be applicable.
- Check Inn will be on first come first serve basis at the time of arrivals.
About Transport
- Our driver / executive will be there at Srinagar airport with the PLACARD {with your name} at Exit Gate on the Airport / Railway Station.
- We have calculated the basic vehicle {Swift Desire (2-3 Pax)/ Tavera / Baleno / Innova Car (6-7 Pax)/ Tempo Traveller (8 – 14 Pax)} in our proposal. During the travel any kind of changes in vehicle will not consider.
- The guest should always be polite with the driver/s as they are not tourism educated and come from variant backgrounds /remote villages.
- As there is a shortage of space for car parking in near to Hotel – guest will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing/transfers.
- We would appreciate, if the guest does not lend their ears to the drivers as there may be instances of misinformation/misguidance. In case of such observation, passenger/s is/are requested to contact our executive.
- Passenger/s is/are requested not to leave his/her/their belongings in the vehicle.. Always check s baggage before leaving the vehicle. Yatharth Travels is not responsible for any theft/missing of luggage
- Please maintain punctuality of time for the sightseeing/transfers as per the advice of our executive. Mainly in this sector, vehicles will not be allowed to park at the hotel.
Note: - As per the Government directive, you are requested to produce your photo identity document such as Driving License/ Adhar Card /Voter ID card/Passport/ at the point of check in at the hotel. We appreciate your cooperation.
Please Note:- Any dispute relating to or arising out of all or any one of the above-stated terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi, India
